It may seem a bit silly to some people: a dog in a tutu.

I understand where these people are coming from. Yards of tulle, ribbons, and a dog? It seems more like a recipe for disaster, something to chew on, step on, and generally be a nuisance. I understand how it looks, but these people couldn’t be more wrong. Dog tutus aren’t only the cutest thing ever, they are also easy to wear.

Beamie couldn’t resist trying one of the tutus on. He thought it was a great opportunity to let out his feminine side… although I think he just couldn’t resist all that poofy tulle. Beamie really loved the way the shiny bow accented the layers of black tulle-Elvis just loved watching Beamie prance around in a tutu. Elvis did think the tutu made a statement and both were sure that their cousin Sadie would be envious of the tutu.

The tutu is sure to make a statement anytime your dog wears it. Although when the tutu first arrives the layers of tulle are flattened down and it looks like it isn’t much at all. Your job dog moms and dads is to carefully fluff the tulle up. Each layer needs to be separated from one another to give an elegant and fabulous look.

Although I wasn’t quite sure myself how to puff and fluff the tutu it was quite easy. It puffed up fluffy and full in no time creating an adorable look for any dog; just look how cute Beamie looks modeling it!

The best part is that these tutus may look delicate they really aren’t. The workmanship is super. The stitching is well done and strong. The tulle is fluffy but not in the way. This adorable fashion statement is also dog friendly to wear; what could be better- fashion that functions! These tutus will definitely last a long time.

The elastic band is sturdy, without being so tight as to cut into your dog. Make sure you do measure your pet before purchase to ensure you get the right size! These tutus can also be hand washed (because the tulle will tear in the washer). After the tutu is washed you will need to primp and fluff it again.

All in all the Two Poodles and Me are head over tails about these fantastic, fabulous, and fun tutus. If your pooch likes to dress up this is a must have!
