We have a great tradition in our house of spending quality time together; family bonding time is great, and sometimes we do it over a fun (dog orientated) movie. I get my bowl of popcorn and the two poodles get their doggie treats. Then we all sit down to watch. I sit in my seat on the couch, Beamie sits in his and Elvis curls up on the floor (unless Beamie jumps off the couch for a quick drink of water!). I know what you are thinking right about now… awwww how lovely….. you can just see this picturesque scene in a painting can’t you. It is very lovely, that is until the movie starts. One evening in particular we sat down to “Hotel For Dogs”. Everyone was peaceful and content. Then the dogs in the movie got excited, and so did the two poodles. There was barking everywhere, it was poodle madness. Beamie and Elvis get very animated during any movie with dogs. They think they are a part of the scene and join in the chorus of barking. We finally made it to the end of the movie, by which time I was certain I would need ear plugs, when they asked quite energetically to watch it again. Sorry boys…its bedtime!
